During your discovery of self, have you been experiencing any resurfacing experiences consistently and randomly coming up?
▫Is it when listening to music or driving down the highway?
▫Have you had any resurfacing fears?
▫Have you recognized any limiting beliefs that you picked up as a child and still struggle with “letting go”?
I’ve been getting a lot of questions from my clients about overcoming trying times that they’ve held onto and cannot seem to let go of the hurt and pain caused by these experiences.
This could be a tricky part during this process, but you can and will get through this because you are resilient and will overcome this, just like these experiences.
You already overcame these experiences.
Yes, But that doesn’t mean that you truly healed from the emotional scars and let go of the distress and anguish that was left behind after surviving and moving forward with your daily routines.
These experiences happened ,and those people you left in the past for giving you emotional scaring did hurt you. That doesn’t mean that they have the right to continue to control the narrative of your life by coexisting within your mind.
During my time of solitude, I have realized that there were things that I was still holding onto from as young as four years old that vividly came flooding in. Things started resurfacing that I thought were behind me.
During this time, I went through a variety of different feelings and emotions:
▪Sadness because of my attachment to things that affected my self-worth
▪Anger because of my values for people who have hurt, abused, or mistreated me and my intellect within.
▪Resentment of myself for literally putting others before myself.
▪Disappointment because I realized how much power I gave others over myself.
I realized that i have always been a selfless person. To the point where it was potentially toxic for my personal experiences.
Its ok to love people and forgive those who hurt you. However, I discovered that I would forgive and continue to go through the repeating cycle until they were done using me or draining my energies. I even discovered that I had a tendency to water myself down to appeal to the beliefs of those same people.
I also could see their reactions behind my back. Realizing those words that I heard all the time.
“Some people just won’t like you because you're, you.”
When I was young. I always looked at people as light on earth. I never judged. I seen the beautiful life flowing through people. Not based on stature, but based on the energy of love in you that I connect with.
I realized that I had seen through people since a small child and I only wanted to love people.
I never understood why I was raised to believe that someone could just not like a person because of them being who they are.
It was deeper than that.
The experiences and pain endured by others was a mere reflection of the experiences of others.
Once I recognized the reality of those words, It impacted me a lot. Not that I showed it because I also learned how to retain my emotions around people at a young age, which was the start of my “anxiety”.
I just wanted everyone go be fair to one another. Be equal to one another and love everyone for who they are.
I never dwelled on the things people did to hurt me, but with shadow work and lots of time with self, I’ve discovered that I still held onto those things that people did, not realize that it was still affecting me.
I had to learn how to let go of those feelings of resentment towards those people and the experiences that caused me any pain mentally, physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
I began to move forward and start my journey towards healing my inner self, both as a child and adult.
I began to grow.
Here are some methods that I find compelling:
With the floods of emotions and feelings that seem to be stuck in our psyche, you must begin with recognizing these feelings and creating a healthy way of channeling these sentiments.
1. Ground, Scan, Release.
🔶 Let’s begin by finding a comfortable place to lay or sit.
🔶 Now, let's think about the experience that is resurfacing.
🔶 Next, you are going to perform a body scan and take into account the physical reactions to your feelings.
🔶 Then, you are going to place an emotion with that physical feeling.
~ Did this physical reaction occur when you felt happiness, anger, regret, doubt, joy, etc.
🔶 Finally, you are going to recognize the physical feeling that ties in with that emotion and embrace that with love.
~ The goal is to counteract those negative feelings and emotions with your current intentions of healing and replacing the negative energy with positive vibrations and universal love energy.
• For example, If we have discovered that your heart is racing and it's because of fear, we will accept our experience and emotions with tenderness and with self-gratification say to your past self “ I love you for allowing me to feel “_____” and allowing me to recognize this.” You will, using your Third Eye, see your past self experiencing this traumatic moment; walking to your past self and just listening to how they feel. Lastly, you will tell your past self that they didn’t deserve this experience, you love them, and it’s ok to let go.
🔶 Lastly, Lean in and hug your past self and hold your past self until you feel the release of hurt, pain, and anger release from your past self.)
Once you are done, you will feel a positive shift back into your current moment.
2. Inner Child Meditation
⚪ Let's start with sitting or lying in a comfortable position.
⚪ Take a few deep breaths, holding them in for a few seconds at a time and then releasing each breath, allowing yourself to relax.
⚪ Next, we are going to allow universal energy to flow through you starting from your Crown and flowing down through all of your wheels into your Root Chakra.
⚪ Once you feel grounded, I want you to envision, with your seeing eye, you and your child self standing next to each other at your favorite place as a child (beach, park, woods, etc.)
⚪ Look up. Feel the warmth of the sun on your face and allow it to penetrate into your being, beginning the healing process. Reach to your side and hold your inner child’s hand.
⚪ Let us guide our third eye towards the left side and notice two Gold and Purple balloons sitting by the water. I want you and your child self to blow up those balloons and, with every breath, allow all the pain, anger, hurt, animosity, fear, doubts, and resentment to leave you, filling them into the balloons.
⚪ Once you are finished, I'd like you to tie up your balloon and tie your inner child’s balloon and give it back.
⚪ Speak to your inner child, let them know that it is ok to let go of the devastation created and that caused you pain.
⚪ Release the balloons. Watch you let go of all the burdens, watching them drift away and slowly disappear.
3. Leaf Burn & Purification Soak
•This method is an intentional. The process is as follows.
🔷 To begin, clean the entire bathtub and tile with peppermint soap.
•This is for physical and spiritual cleansing.
🔷 Once done, fill the tub with warm to cool water (similar to a warm pool)
🔷 We will then add:
~ Agave Nectar- for letting go and trusting
~ Eucalyptus oil- for healing worries and regrets
~ Lavender oil- for peace
~ Salt- for purity
~ Orange peels- for bringing happiness, joy and uplifting energy
~ Magnolia Root- targets spiritual illness and sorrow
~ Crystals
- Moss Agate- for Grounding
- Rose Quartz- for Self Love
- Amethyst- for Absorb negative energy
- Lapiz Lazul- for Inner truth, compassion and expressing feelings and emotions
- White Opal- for inner peace and calming the spirit
🔷 Soak for a minimum of 22 minutes.
During this journey of self-discovery, you may find yourself in a situation where you start finding things out about your inner self that you have not healed from, and it’s okay. These internal principles will not create a barrier between you and the things that you want or find fascinating in your life any longer. You are moving towards the positive things you discover about yourself because of the limiting beliefs developed as a child and throughout your adult life that you are choosing to release.

So today, we are calling all our power back and letting go of what no longer serves us! I'd like you to repeat this every time you feel those uncertainties resurfacing from your past:
Let us affirm:
I release all that no longer serves my highest good.
I control my destiny.
I call back all my power.
I feel my strength replenishing.
I am not my past experiences.
I do not give anyone permission to continue to connect to my energy.
I know my worth.
I am full of love energy.
I am grounded.
I am protected.
